1Matters | Social Media Month in Review | September

September was a busy month for all of us at 1Matters.  We’ve been preparing and planning for Tent City 2018, beginning with the Veterans Matter Walk to End Veteran Homelessness.  This year, we have a tremendous group of Tent City Planning Committee members, who are all in it to support our mission.

For those folks who aren’t on Facebook, we wanted to give you a review of the last month of our posts.  Plenty of good things!

In September…

…our brother, John Mellencamp, invited everyone to Tent City 2018 with a great promo!

…we opened up Tent City 2018 Volunteer and Walker Registrations.  (Click here!)

…we thanked Sylvania Area Family Services for sharing the 1Matters love.

…we asked for Volunteers for the Veterans Matter Honor Ride – it was quite the turnout!!

…we shared the 10 Ways You Can Make a Difference this fall.

..we shared an article from the Toledo Blade about John Mellencamp’s art exhibition.

…we announced the music lineup for Tent City 2018.

…we promoted our winter clothing drive – (we still need hats, coats, gloves and scarves!!)  These can be dropped off at Crossroads Community Church until October 15th.

It’s been a great, busy and meaningful month.  We’ll see you at Tent City!
